"Denise provided technical assistance with our non-profit organization in the area of Board Development and Strategic Planning. These areas of course are at the core of any non-profit’s sustainability. She was an active listener and able to draw the board members’ needs from what was being stated. Her warm and friendly personality helped to gain buy-in from members so that they could come up with solutions to manage the gaps in both the Board’s development and short- and long-term strategic planning.

 

In a thorough but non-condescending manner she provided structure and a process to meet stated goals. A practical thinker, she easily translated complex ideas, allowing the Board to identify and hone in on what was important to them and the organization.

 

Working with a diverse population, her tremendously endearing attitude, enormous business knowledge and excellent communication skills proved to be an invaluable resource to our agency.
